As we move through the spring market and head toward summer, it’s important to note that we’re still in a seller’s market, but we’re starting to experience a slight bouncing of that market. Inventory will continue to tick up; however, it won’t skyrocket and flip us into a buyer’s market.
This message is my offering of hope to all the buyers out there. If you’re a buyer, you can expect less competition when trying to win bids for homes, but you have to stay confident and aggressive. From a seller’s standpoint, we still have an inventory shortage, so it’s still obviously a great time to sell. Prices will stay up as well, but appreciation will start to slow. It will eventually hit a ceiling and come back down, so the sooner you can put your home on the market, the better.
If you’ve given any thought to selling your home or have any questions about our market, now’s the time to give me a call. My team and I would love to help you.
